The project

CAYAMBE is called upon by a country’s Ministry of Education to support the deployment of academy projects and the implementation of performance contracts. These services are financed within the framework of a program supported by the Agence Française de Développement as the Global Partnership for Education’s representative. Cayambe’s mission is to structure and support the development of a dynamic national system for drafting and implementing a “new generation” of Academy Projects and Performance Contracts.

The 36-month project was carried out under the responsibility of a project manager and our technical director, Education.

The actions

  • Diagnosis of existing change tools and recommendations for improvement
  • Performance culture training for managers at central, academic and sub-academic levels
  • Analysis of the educational situation at different levels
  • Design of simplified summary tables of priority performance indicators
  • Assistance in finalizing and signing performance contracts
  • Support for local players in academies to monitor contractualization and management dialogue
  • Setting up monitoring and evaluation mechanisms
