Cayambe celebrates its tenth anniversary

10 years ago, with the creation of Cayambe, a new form of consultancy was born: more pragmatic, more expert, closer and above all more respectful of people and the environment

Development cannot be achieved without including people and the environment. It's up to us, as consulting professionals, to put this ever-present idea to music

Almost 20 years ago, in 2003, the Equator Principles were signed, addressed to the international financial system and aimed at improving the social and environmental responsibility of financial investments.

9 years later, in February 2012, Cayambe was born and, to underline the importance of CSR in the development of organizations, took the name of a famous Ecuadorian volcano. With the central idea of offering a new form of consulting service: closer to the customer, more respectful of people and the environment, more expert in content, more pragmatic in approach. Around its founder François Kerdoncuff and a handful of experts, Cayambe challenged the consulting industry by proposing a method centered on collective intelligence and local expertise.

10 years later, the company has grown to operate on every continent and in many sectors, but the values that drive us remain the same. Throughout this anniversary year, on our website and social networks, we will be pleased to present some of the key missions that have helped us grow and confirm the Equator principles: development cannot be achieved without including people and the environment. It’s up to us, as consulting professionals, to take this idea to the next level.
